If one were to venture east along the northern
edge of Cape Cod, meandering
along the twists and turns of historic Route 6A,
one might be tempted to stop into any one of a
number of quaint antique shops, traditional clam
shacks or the occasional potter’s shed or garden
nook. Sweet, momentary strays on the way to the
postcard perfection of what Yankee Magazine calls one of New England’s prettiest towns*,
Brewster, Massachusetts, and the warmth and
hospitality of Isaiah Clark House Innkeepers
Steve and Philomena.

Truly
an homage to Old Cape Cod – lush
with flowering bushes and sprawling trees and
dotted with traditional clapboard sided buildings,
the area was originally settled in 1656 and served
as the prestigious home to a number of merchant
sea captains. In 1785, the prosperous
Captain Isaiah Clark established his family in a
lovely, roomy home that he built with his very own hands
on a few rambling acres of land. The town of Brewster was
officially incorporated in 1803.
A
marvelous example of American Colonial
Architecture and 18th
century craftsmanship, this
classic building - set in a quiet, residential
neighborhood - has been meticulously restored
and renovated to blend a traditional ambiance and Cape
Cod charm with today’s modern comforts and
amenities.

The
Isaiah Clark House is
perfect for individuals, couples and small group
gatherings.
Our grounds provide an attractive, memorable
location for
intimate weddings, family celebrations and
corporate retreats.
If you find your thoughts wandering to the sandy
beaches of Cape Cod,
long, lazy days spent on sunny beaches, walks

once-in-a-lifetime views of humpback whales
breaching under brilliant sunsets, make
