Steve and Philomena - thank you so much. I felt completely at home and I will treasure this time always. 5/07 Actor Stacey Dash

Hill Street Blues - Doogie's Dad - Philomena and Steve - just great! Actor James Sikking

As my need for escape involves truly getting away...from the phones, from idle chitchat and the need to "make nice" (you know what I mean), I typically stay in big hotels where being a number means you get to be anonymous. After calling Isaiah Clark on a whim, and being persuaded by Innkeeper Steve to give it a try, I have to admit it: I'm a convert. Isaiah Clark has enough space to give you just that - room to breathe - and when you're done, you can hang out with other guests, relax on the deck with a good book or go puttering around in town. Seriously, they won me over to such a degree that I'll be back every year. 9/07

The innkeepers are very friendly and offered excellent recommendations for dining. If you want to visit all of the Cape, it is a central location. Peaceful, beautiful backyard gardens with lots of birds. 5/08

We spent four nights and thought we were in a different world. The time there was one of the greatest vacations we have had. 10/07

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Inn but wish we had stayed longer. The Isaiah Clark House is just lovely. We especially liked the period furnishing, decor and lots of nice touches. This is more than just bed & breakfast...there are 2 guest lounges, access to a refrigerator and a lovely garden. Steve and Philomena were very helpful, and breakfasts were delicious. Brewster is a good location, close to beaches, great restaurants and other Cape attractions. This Inn was the best place we stayed during two fantastic weeks in New England, in October 2007.

My wife and I spent four nights at the Isaiah Clark House during our two-week honeymoon to New England. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find a beautifully landscaped yard with a wood deck off the back overlooking the garden. For anyone interested in reading or games, the guesthouse is very cozy and inviting. Our room exceeded our expectations with beautifully appointed furniture and an updated bathroom. We spent the first day of our stay enjoying our room, while recovering from the amazing breakfast (French Toast with fresh blue berry puree). Each morning we received a different gourmet breakfast with fresh fruit and pastry. Philomena and Steve were very knowledgeable about the area and eager to help in anyway. All in all we had a peaceful stay at the Isaiah Clark House and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Cape. 8/07

Isaiah Clark House in Brewster provided well above expected service for our 3 day stay. Courteous efficient service throughout. Immaculate, clean room with facilities well beyond those expected. A superb b&b in a lovely location. ICH to be recommended! 8/07

We thoroughly had a great experience. Our room was very comfortable and the service (Steve) was great! This was one of the best B&Bs we have been to. Plenty of parking, the food was fantastic and the service top-notch. We would stay again without hesitation. We highly recommend you give the Clark House a try. Close to great dining and the beaches. Thank you. 8/07

Wow, central A/C made our stay so much more comfortable. Innkeepers make you feel at home. Superb breakfasts. 7/07

To all who may read this:

Drop whatever you are doing and make a reservation at the Isaiah Clark Inn immediately! You owe it to yourself and whomever you may love to experience a true treat—and the Isaiah Clark Inn is the place to satisfy that obligation. To start with the Inn is in Brewster, a lovely and quiet area located close to the midpoint of Cape Cod and thus being nearly equidistant from both ends of the Cape making all of its sights and pleasures easily available. We are in our eighties and too old to relocate, but if we were it would be to Cape Cod and, more specifically, Brewster.

The Innkeepers, Steve and Philomena, are congenial but not intrusive and Steve is a particularly valuable resource to newcomers. He is a lifelong resident of the Cape and seemingly totally aware of perhaps everything it offers in terms of restaurants, activities, sights and whatever else there is, and willing to share it with you if you like. The Inn is over 200 years old and has been tastefully furnished in a manner to blend with its years and complete with beautifully comfortable mattresses which, for us, is a must for a multi night stay. (And they provide some very, very comfortable robes for the use of their guests which, in our case, are still with them only because they would not agree to refrain from taking an inventory after our departure.)

And, of course, there is the Cape itself. We had heard so much of it but, even so, it exceeded our expectations in every way. Steve, Philomena, the wonderful Cape provided memories that we are certain that we would retain even if we had not aided them with some surprisingly fine products from our hard worked camera.

When you leave an Inn and feel that you owe a thanks to your Innkeeper, that says it all.

Stop what you are doing and go to the Cape today!
